Time to organize and update

Well its sure been a while since I made a post on here. I really dont think anyone reads this anyway haha. Well an update on my life. Ive just finished my first wedding photo shoot. It wasnt a disaster but it was def a learning experience. (note to self remember the extra batteries dummy). I haven't had three seconds to myself to do any editing but thankfully she just wants the pics and can edit them herself. Ive been offered to other photo jobs since word has spread about me finally taking pics of peeps. Hope those go a little more smoothly. In the Ant news hes started kindergarden. My baby isnt a baby anymore. Boo hoo. Not really that type of mom to cry. He is growing up fast tho. I'll post the pics of his first day later on. Hmm what else. O I've been using that dating site okcupid.com and talking to some very interesting men. Its fun and scary at the same time. Who would have thought I could get out there again.

Ok so lets get to the time to organize part. Im inspired by . She is one amazing blogger. I give her credit cause she actually keeps up with her blog as you can see I don't. Due to her recent blog about sharing her journey while redoing her scrap space, I have decided it is time again for some updating in my own space. I find it cluttered and small and I have the most horrible time trying to work there (OCD sucks). I will update on here again when I get a moment to start. Later today I will try to post the most recent pics of my area so you can see what Im starting with. Beware it looks like total cahos.

thinking of changing the pace

Ok so Ive been toying around with the idea of changing this blog to something alittle different. I have been searching the sites out there for budget friendly ideas. You know for organizing and actual scrap goodies. I, being a single mom need to find cheap and easy to use items. So from this point on I will be listing ideas and finds that are out there on the web or ones that I have come up with...
Here is some that I currently have:
SPICE RACKS REPORPOSED

The wooden spice rack was purchased at a flea marked for $1.00. It now holds my prima flowers and some other random yet small embellishements. The silver spice rack was purchased at a yard sale for $.50. It hold some small emellishments. They include beads, confetti, and small foam shapes.

YARD SALE FINDS
This is a pen holder that you find in the craft and paper stores. I found this at a end of the day rumage sale. I am a proud member of freecycle and on occasion they send emails for end of day "sales". These "sales" are basically come get whats left for free. So anyway this was a free item.

MAKE IT YOURSELF

This is a pringles can painted and holes cut in it to hold my Stickles. Let me tell you Im an addict. I think I may need a second one to hold all the other stickles Ive been collecting.
This is a carry all that I made from Plastic Canvas. It was from a baby organizer pattern.
And last for this post finally is the paper holders made from USPS mailers. I just cut them at an angle and painted them. You can make tab dividers by using some white cardstock. I use the ones that come in the page protectors since I have so many. You can either purchase tabs from the store or you can cut them out of scraps of paper.
Hope some of you enjoyed these organizers that I have made work in my space. More later this week. I will try to get some other ideas sites as well.
